Accessibility

Everyone should be able to learn about their options, price a project, and reach us, however they use the web. Here is what we have done toward that and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Our goal

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. Those guidelines explain how to make web content usable for people with a wide range of disabilities, including people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor or cognitive disabilities.

What we have built in

  • A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, so keyboard and screen reader users can jump past the menu
  • Menus, question lists, and popups that open, close, and move focus correctly with a keyboard alone
  • Headings in a logical order and page regions that screen readers can navigate by
  • Form fields with labels read aloud by screen readers, and form errors announced when they happen
  • Text descriptions on meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology
  • Text and button colors chosen for readable contrast
  • Layouts that work at up to 200 percent zoom and on phones, tablets, and desktops
  • No autoplaying video or audio, and no animation when pages load

Known limitations

The site was built with keyboard and screen reader use in mind, but it has not yet been audited by an outside accessibility firm, so there may be gaps we have not found. Outside sites we link to, such as manufacturers and lenders, have their own accessibility practices that we do not control.

You never have to use this website to work with us. Everything the site does, including requesting an estimate, getting a price range, and filing a warranty request, can be done by phone or email instead:

It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and any assistive technology you were using.
